Authors: Badhe, Sanjiv
Abstract: This is a 2nd session on Interference in Thin Films. In this session, the interference in thin film of uniform thickness is explained. Conditions for maximum and minimum in case of interference in thin film of uniform thickness (Reflected system and Transmitted system) are obtained. Questions like why excessively thin film appears black? and Why do we see different colours on oil film or soap bubble film? are answered. How to get Anti reflecting film and fully reflecting film coating on the glass surface is explained. At the end some problems based on thin film of uniform thickness are also solved.</summary>
