Authors: Badhe, Sanjiv
Abstract: This is a 3rd session on Interference in Thin Films. In this session, the interference in thin film of non-uniform thickness (Wedge shaped film) is explained. Conditions for maximum and minimum in case of interference in Wedge shaped film are obtained. Questions like why do we get linear fringes? How to determine diameter of a thin wire, wavelength of light or refractive index of liquid using wedge shaped film experiment are also discussed. At the end some problems based on Wedge shaped film are also solved.</summary>
